Cerebral blood flow( CBF) and Metabolism are critically important to maintain proper brain perfusion and force the brain with the necessary oxygen and energy substrates. Acceptable brain perfusion is needed to support normal brain function, to achieve successful aging, and to navigate acute and habitual medical conditions. We review the general principles of CBF measures and the current ways to measure CBF grounded on direct intravascular measures, nuclear drug, X-ray imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound ways, thermal prolixity, and optic styles.
