Traumatic brain injury( TBI), a form of acquired brain injury, occurs when an unanticipated trauma causes damage to the brain. TBI can affect when the head suddenly and violently hits an object, or when an object pierces the skull and enters the brain towel. Symptoms of a TBI can be gentle, moderate, or tough, depending on the extent of the harm to the brain. A person with a mild TBI may remain conscious or may witness a loss of cognizance for many seconds or minutes.TBI is a primary reason behind morbidity and mortality worldwide. It remains the routing cause of death and disability among teenagers in developed countries.
